Students paint community centre in Oldfield Park

Students from Bath Spa University spent a day painting Hillside Community Hall in Oldfield Park alongside B&NES Council staff. Hillside Community Hall is used regularly by members of the local community for dance classes, children's activities and more.

The students joined Council staff to paint the hall on Thursday 10th June and worked from 9am until 5.30pm to get the job finished. The Chair of Hillside Community Hall Association was very pleased with the results.

There was even a visit from new Council Chairwomen Councillor Sarah Bevan.

It is hoped that students can get involved in similar projects through the Student Community Partnership in the future.
