Newbridge
Newbridge is close enough to the city centre and green spaces such as Victoria Park whilst also being a quieter area that still benefits from local amenities and shops. It is popular with students and has a community feel.
Chelsea Road has many shops such as a post office, bank, hairdressers, fruit and vegetable shop, bakery, video rental store, fitness and lifestyle centre, launderette and a convenience store. There is also a pub nearby and cafes, restaurants and take-aways.
Student comment:
"I have loved living in Newbridge. It is a shorter distance than some of the other areas of Bath for getting to the Bath Spa University campus (Newton st Loe) and it is reasonable walking distance to the city centre. It has great local amenities, but what I liked most was the sense of community in and around the area".
