Weston

Photo of Weston High StreetWeston is a suburb of Bath located in the north west of the city built into the hilly landscape. Originally a separate village, Weston has become part of Bath as the city has grown.

Weston is an ideal area because it has a number of facilities readily available. It is close to the centre of Bath, but retains its own charm. Weston is a vibrant area of Bath, popular with students and with 2 public houses, one which holds a weekly quiz night, what more can you need.

Weston also has a large amount of local amenities, including 2 recreation grounds, an archery field in Weston Park with a full-sized football pitch, library and parish hall and youth club. It has a good amount of shops including a bakery, supermarket, Tesco Express, post office, pharmacy and newsagents. There is also a fruit & vegetable shop, 3 hairdressers, an oriental food store, a coffee shop, restaurants, various take-aways (including Indian, Fish and Chips, Chinese and Pizza) and there is even a dairy!

Getting around

The main bus service in the village is the No 14 and 14A which run frequently into the city centre.

The 20A has an hourly service which runs into the city centre and the University of Bath. There is also bus service 17 every half an hour and 14 every 10/15 minutes, which both run into the city centre.
